Had a wow smoke tonight

It has been raining for several days. I hate smoking indoors so have been smoke free since Sunday. The clouds clear tonight, the air is fresh, its time to smoke, but I fear being Oregon it could rain at any time. So I start looking through the humidors for something small and stumble on a couple of CAO Cameroon box press sitting at the bottom of one the humis, I have never had one so decide to give it a go. Anyway, from the first puff this thing is pure sweet and mild spice. Not sure if it was the temperature, the clean air or what, but this must go down as one of the best smokes I have ever had. It lasted 40 minutes, not long enough. I had Indian food for dinner, not sure if that contributed, but I am absolutely stunned right now. Why this forum and not reviews you ask, because this is a not a review, I am gloating to everyone here about my perfect smoke... man, if they could only all be this good.

So, what is similar to this stick. I need more of this sweet mild spice. I think I may have stumbled onto a new profile I like which could be dangerous to my wallet.
 
I am glad you found a smoke you realy enjoy. I don't know what compares to them as I have never had one, but I say grab a few more.
 
Mmmmm.....yea. Those days when a smoke just seems beyond "perfect" are great. Just seems like everything comes together and makes for the most pleasurable smoke.

I hope you have many more!!
 
Ya know.. the only cao i ever really cared for was the vision... But about 2 weeks ago i dug one of the cameroons out of my father in laws humi... a lil aged.. the wrapper wasn starting to yellow.. i have to agree with you.. im getting a few myself to age.. as far as likeness to it? hmmmmmm i dunnoo
 
I'm in love with cameroon wrappers. That said, the cameroon is my favorite stick from cao. If you want to try another stick that's similar in taste try the nub cameroon. It has the same sweet taste and I swear it tastes like honey!
 
I've also had the CAO Cameroon, and while it was very good it did not even compare the the "Oliva G Cameroon" The complexity is amazing, flavor terrific, and smoothness unbelievable...try it!!!
 
Depending on where in Hillsboro you are, you could come smoke on my covered "smoking lounge" in my back yard. I'm on Hyde street, near shadywood park.

I love the cammy wrappers myself. Havent had the CAO but I have to second the comment about the Olivas they are yummy. I also have always loved the La Unica Cameroons which are rumored to be discontinued.

I have to say that I love Cameroon Wrappers by far the best. Just a touch of spice...Don Tom'as has a Cameroon Collection 7-1/2 X 51 (Double Corona). Best smoke period (IMHO)!:tu
