Have you ever tossed a $15+ cigar?

If there is one thing I've learned from this forum its that life is to short to smoke crappy cigars, I've definently tossed sticks I wasn't enjoying. Specifically 15+ sticks, I see no difference between a $30 Ashton ESG and a $3 Nic 3k if they both suck they go in the tray to die where I wont have suffer with them. No sense in wasting my time on something that isnt doing it for me, rather enjoy then feel bored.

Yeh I had to throw out a Graycliff Espresso. I was so pissed off I smoked it way too fast and could not touch it up to a point where it would burn right.

Funny, I had that experience just today :mad::mad:. Well, actually it was a Graycliff Double Espresso and it was muy harsh.

I can't remeber any one specific cigar but I've toosed a few in my day.

The most aggreviating to me is a tight draw :hn I can't stand it and would toos it in a second. No sense in fustrating yourself when your suppose to be relaxing and enjoying the moment.

I've tossed 3 or 4 Opus, in fact I had the first Opus I really enjoyed this weekend. I tossed an 02 64 Imperial, it seemed really flat to me tastewise. Those are the only ones that come to mind.

Both sizes of the ESG went out the window as did one or two others. Life's to short to fight through a problematic cigar. If Henry's tool doe'st fix the problem the first time, out it goes.

Never Have. I came very close to tossing a Gurkha Class Regent one time...taste was fine but jeeeez was it a bitch to keep burning. Not to mention it was 13$ not 15 lol

After only a few months of smoking, I tried to be BIG dog and try a Opus. BIG dog turned into RAT dog real fast. It took awhile for me to reach in and grab another, cause at CA prices that's tossing 30 bucks. OUCH..Now one of my favorites :dr

Not exactly tossed, but my first time trying a RASS I had a heck of a time getting it to draw. I was about to give up about halfway down when the owner of the very fine shop I was in announced that all of their cigars are 100% guaranteed and offered to replace it for me. I ended up with a Monte PE to go instead, which is resting in my humi. Haven't had another RASS but I've done a decent amount of business in that shop whenever I'm in that particular city.

Yes, I got a good Davidof Cigar, somthing happened and couldnt smoke then, forgot it in my pocket. and it was ruined by the time I found it.

I've tossed a few Lanceros due to draw problems. I hear it's the secco leaves that once they get too hot, the oils jam it up.

Have never tossed one. I keeping hoping it will turn around and get better, I stay in there all the way to the band. If I still did not like it to the end I will only try it once more and then never again. I always give everyone a second chance even a cigar!!!:tu

I'm still on chance one right?! :D

I tossed a Punch 2 days ago. A real one... Big stogie, about 7 X 48. I smoked about 1/2 inch and it was just so strong and full I couldn't take it.
The sad part is, it was the first out of a box of 25. I have no plans to smoke any more of them, am going back to my trusted Dominicans and Hondurans... Larry.

BTW - Obviously the box (which was gifted to me) cannot be sold. I plan to keep them for 5 years, then try another.
