Help me pick the right Cigar Case

I am undecided between these two cases. Do any of you have experience with either? They seem really similar is the reason I am having a hard time.

This is the Otterbox 18ct with the Boveda Pak. Which could easily be done with the Xikar.

I am leaning toward the Xikar, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything you might have to add.

same case, probably made by the same company (either pelican or otterbox), so your decision should be based on price/accessories/color.
 
Both are very similar in terms of construction and durability.

The Xikar does have a place in the lid foam for a humidification device (like the Puck-ifier :ss)

I have two otterboxes and love them! The xikar is probably made by *insert company here* but it's $5 extra for that pretty xikar logo :D
 
They look like the exact same case to me, just with different foam inserts. And the Xikar comes with a humidifier device.

I started with 0ne 5'er then a 15'er,then a 18'er now I have a 30'er all by different manufacturer's and no cigars have been lost or crushed in any of them.We have an addiction you will slide and buy many.

I have the 50ct one like the Xikar... mine is called x-treme BUT they were bought out by Xikar. I LOVE mine and right now I use boveda packs in mine... I am going to switch to beads when these packs die.

Not sure if that helps... just another guy saying that these cases ROCK
 
the Xikar and the Caddy are same exact case made by S3 Case (Extreme). Xikar is using the credo type humidifer, Caddy chose the Boveda.
 
I have two of the original Otter box cigar caddies in that size and love them. They used to have a spot for humidification but that is no loss. You can cut a spot for a puck from Mark at cigarmony if need be.

Otterbox has excellent customer service. I use their ipod cases, etc.. also.

I pimped both of mine out with deluxe trays from Ron at cigarsolutions.com.

my trays fit the Caddy and Xikar.
