Herf with my son

Bigga Petey

Lowland Gorilla
Drove to mom's yesterday for our Christmas Eve family gathering.
Mom is 85, still does a spread like nobody else.
It was wonderful.

In any case, it's a hundred mile drive.
He is only ninteen, and already appreciates a good cigar.
I'm a corruptor, I know.

I asked him to drive. I clipped the caps on two Boli PC's.
Drove to mom's in an aromatic cloud of fine smoke.
(Maybe that's why that sherriff followed for a while).

Headed home about ten-ish.
Lit up two RASS for the return trip.
He said "Wow!"
What else can you say about the RASS?

Had some great conversation.
The best and most open since we lost his mom early this year.
Something about a good cigar that relaxes and somehow makes things well.

Thanks for letting me share.

Bringing the boy up right.

You got him smokin the good stuff. Enjoy it. Time is priceless.

Hey man, very nice to do such things with him. I can only dream of my dead smoking cigars together with me.

Sounds like a nice time. Its amazing how something so simple can bring people together like that! Merry Christmas!

BP, thanks for sharing. Any time you can share some meaningful times with a son or father, well, that's what this time of year is really about IMHO. Funny how a great cigar makes the experience so much more!

That sounds like an amazing time. I am glad that you both were able to share that with each other. I am sorry to hear about the loss of his mom. Losing someone is never easy!

Pete I am already looking forward to smoking with my son who isn't even born yet. These are some of the indelible images that will stick with him for the rest of his life. Good stuff, bro.

On a side note, I hope to be having a "wow" moment myself from the RASS you sent me in a coupla weeks...
