Holt's cigars - good reputation?

What are your experiences with Holt's cigars? Good service? Good conditions of cigars?

I see they have interesting prices on Davidoff and I love Davidoff.

I've ordered 3 times from them since Christmas and have had no problems. I'll keep going back.
 
Prices are a little high on many smokes but I use them often because they have the best customer service in the business.

No problems at all with shipping or merchandise. I've ordered from them several times and never had a problem.

If you like RP Edge, they have a great price on "off-color." I also really like the Old Henry and Connoisseur selection.
 
I have had them go out of their way to make things right even when it was the manufacturer who messed up - great customer service IMHO
 
I've been a Holt's customer for many years. They are good and reliable and have great customer service. Anymore, I buy from them when the prices are right, which is getting to be more and more common.
 
I was in Holt's a couple of weeks ago picking up some smokes they(and all other online retailers) are not allowed to sell online or in catalog. The guy behind the counter double checked to see if I was right when I told him that. Hmmm... I wonder if I call in and order would they be allowed.
 
Never had a bad experience with them. They have good prices on AF Cuban Beli boxes (my fav) and run some good specials from time to time. :tu:tu
 
As has been said many times they aren't the cheapest but they are worth the extra cost for the consistent quality and high level of service. Everything I have gotten from them has been immaculate.
 
Yes, order with Confidence when dealing with Holts. Only one issue is that you don't get a receipt when ordering online. First time it tripped me out. After that... I put my faith in the force and all was well. :tu
 
I consider myself lucky to be able to go to the Holt's stores . Top notch retailer . I have also ordered on-line from them and have nothing but good things to say about them . :tu

Very good tip, thanks a bunch.

What a great forum! Now I can be assured that I can get my Davidoffs at prices similar to those in Europe (especially if we take the exchange rate into account) and from a reliable source. I guess buying Ds at Holt's is doubly good because Davidoff's quality control is close to 100%.

Holts does email you a copy of your order that includes invoiced prices and shipping and an invoice is in the box.

I'll have to call them to verify my account because I have yet to get an invoice. Nothing in my spam filter or diverted to another folder. Then again... I'm too busy :al to really care. :r
