Horrible Question

Thanks folks... sounds like some interesting solutions - I'll keep away from the donkey pee however... ;)

Ok, next question is there a way to smoke a cigar that you don't get the smell on your hands and yet, you don't look like a supreme boce either?

That's why white silk gloves werer invented. Just don't get burn stains on them . . . they'll look so unappealing if you do.

White silk gloves??? Are you serious???? Might I not be a bit conspicuous donning gloves for a seegar? If you know a way to wear them without looking the part of the "snob" I'm all ears (seriously).

You COULD get a cigar holder, usually made of metal or wood( like pipe material). I have a cigar buddy up in SF and she swears by it religously. It might keep the smell off of your hands a bit more. Also, put your cigar down in between some of your puffs while it's cooling. The more you hold it, the more the smoke wafts over them. Hope this helps!

Well, the white glove thing was popular in Europe (according to some older books on cigars) for women smokers. When bands were introduced, people were relieved that they could now hold onto a cigar with the band!

Just another idea.

Don't know how or what I do but my hands usually don't smell. Usually my clothes, or worse yet, my breath that give me away. I like using the Henry Clay Smoker's Mints for my breath.

I second the white gloves idea. then get a morning suit and just pretend youre going to the proms or having a smart 1920s night out. You may get some stares...but hey were cigar smokers, were used to gettting weird stares right?

Mustard..Yeah I know it sounds wierd but wash your hands in mustard, rinse, then wash with soap, smell is gone. Takes fish smell off too-even after fileting

Why not wash them with some scented soap? Shouldn't that take care of it?

soap and water usually doesn't get all the smell off your hands but I found that if you wash your hands with those disinfectent wipes made by Clorox. That does the job.

Then how do you get rid of the mustard smell?

I'm solidly in the Lemmon Juice Camp!

After all, Martha Stewart uses it after she has a smoke! It's a GOOD THING!!!

Ok, this is a horrible question to have to ask, but you guys would possibly know the answer.

I know the first thing you'll ask is Why? but hear me out...

How can one get the smell of cigar smoke off one's hands? I personally love the lingering after-effects, but my family does not.

Help???
