Man the taxing is getting rediculous, It amazing that the government didnt learn from prohibition the first time, they created a black market that made alot of people very wealthy !

I wonder if there's a way for an average schmoe like me to profit from the coming stogie black market. Unless I move to Switzerland or Nicaragua, probably not.

So many of these tax hikes are just insane- especially the ones that hide behind the words "children" or "poor" or "environment" etc

Why do you hate "the children"?

I still say we should tax fast food, candy, junk food and pop with sugar in it. And then, for the kids to qualify for "our" money for their health care, they would have to run 5 laps around the track every day along with their parents. That would do more to improve "health care" than raising taxes for another government program.

Excellent idea. IMHO every government handout should come with some sort of user fee, whether that be community service or whatever.
