How do you buy your sticks?

Boxes, Bundles, 5ers, Single sticks at the B&M?

How do you stock your humidor? A few at a time to sit on and wait until the right moment to enjoy them or do you snap up boxes and torch through them?

I never buy just one cigar even if I havent tried it before. I always get atleast 2 then they usually sit and wait for there time to go down in flames..
 
Currently, it's mostly 5ers and other types of samplers...even at the B&M I always buy at leat 2 of anything I try, just in case one comes up bad I always give it a second chance. Haven't bought very many boxes, only because I don't yet have the wine-er-dor to start down that road...:ss
 
I do the same thing. I have to get at least a couple or 5. I jump on boxes that I know aren't going to be around and give the others a good try before buying.
 
I have bought a few bundles,a few 5ers,but mostly buy 2 or 3 singles of a brand when I go to the B&M,like to smoke one right away and put the others up to smoke down the line and see if they get better with age. Now that I have joined C-Bid I might be getting my first box's soon,just have to figure out what I really like.
 
i usually get 5ers to try, sometimes ya get a bum stick & i'd hate to write off a potential favorite-if i like 'em (& can afford to!) i'll get a box
 
pretty much just 5er's till i find what i like than i buy boxes..although love buying bundles from famous,and have to stop at the B&M to support so usually about 75-100 bucks every 2 weeks on them singles.
 
I get nearly all of my sticks online, primarily from the Devil, in five packs, or samplers. I tend to make one large purchase once every few months, with the occasional trip to the B&M in between.
 
Kind of different, but I never buy 5'ers, I usually see them as a waste. Usually I will figure out if I like a stick within 2 cigars which I pick up at the B&M. And, hell, if I am having something shipped to me, might as well be a box right?

...Its my half-assed way of justifying boxes. I also think half of the thrill is picking up boxes of things I have never even had a single of. I also know in the back of my mind, if I don't care for it, there are plenty of BOTL's who probably will, either through trades, sales, and bombs. So for me, its mostly boxes, especially with CBID....... damn that place.
 
I typically try by the stick and buy the box(es). meaning for things I have not tried I typically get one, once I know I like it how many boxes I buy is typically only confined by how much storage I have available.
 
I've gotten big samplers lately, RP from c-bid (like 20 RPs) and then some premium 12 + case from thompson (price didn't seem to bad for it). Stopping by the B&M monday for singles.
 
A. Yes
B. Stock up as disposible income for cigars is available. Put a box or two of favorites to age. Get enough favorites to "rest" and smoke.
 
I've bought samplers and 5 packs mainly, but I'm pretty new to cigars. Haven't bought a box yet, but I have 8 bundles in my humidor now :ss
 
I mostly buy singles at the B&M, and 5 packs and boxes on Cbid or CI. I'm trying to take a hiatus from purchasing anything more than an occasional single though.
