How do you stay warm?

right b4 winter i got motivated, built floor to ceiling shelves in our outdoor shed-ran a cable line, moved a stereo out there, got a folding lounge chair & set up shop-i used a 1500 watt electric heater for a while, but when it got under 30* i went another direction-Home Depot had a heater sale, picked up a quartz 1500 watt electric & a Dyna Glo TagAlong propane heater http://cgi.ebay.com/DYNA-GLO-TAG-A-...DOOR-SAFE_W0QQitemZ320216413863QQcmdZViewItem
$45 for both, i run the propane heater off a grill tank (less expensive than the tiny bottles) & i'm pretty much set-keeps it warm (around 50* i guess) when it's 10* out-now every day after work i can watch Simpsons & Family Guy w/a good stogie

Got a ceramic heater with a fan... blows some warm air, but I am in North Carolina, so not too many nights that get below freezing. Does really well down to about 40 F if I bundle up a little. :ss

Nice, that's totally the kind of thing I was looking for... that thing's badass. The first link, I mean. The second one looks... fatal.

I have an outdoor fireplace but it never really seems like a good night to get it going, just for me. If I have friends over then I'm all about having a fire, but it seems like overkill for just me.

This is what I have as well. Only in table top form. It's great except for the fact that the canisters of propane sometimes freeze up.

I use an outdoor fireplace to stay warm in the winter months.

Step 1: get an inferno going, as it takes a little while until the fire will generate enough heat to stay warm on a cold evening.
Step 2: while the fire builds up some heat, get cigar, drink, etc.
Step 3: clip cigar and pour drink.
Step 4: adjourn outside, fire up cigar and smoke in comfort.

The fireplace puts out enough heat that I often remove my coat, if it isn't too windy. It has turned my winter smokes into a particular pleasure.

This is a well executed plan. Great pic too!!
Wish I were there to smoke with ya!!

I'm another cold weather wuss. I sit on my porch with kerosene heater and sit right up next to it. Work pretty well down to freezing. Below that, I just say f-it lol.

I have a fleece I wear.

But most of the time I amin the garage, car or smoking room in my house. It usually dooesnt get below 70 degrees in there. :D
