How I Cut A Torpedo !

Not so sure your fire station buddies would be too impressed about smoking next to a butane gas canister

Nope , not really worried about it , it's 3 feet behind me and it's only butane not propane but on another note as to everyone at the fire station , "I kinda out rank them" :D
You ever light a butane torch with a 4" flame , right under that flame is a 'butane canister' :cb

Hmm my XiKar is going back for warranty love, but I bet this will help my cuts with the cheapie cutter I have too. Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely be trying it out!

Thanks for the photo's and the tip's on your cutting. One quick question, maybe I missed it already, how was the cigar?

Anyone cut a torpedo at an angle? I have a friend that swears that is the end all way to cut a torp.

I don't cut any cigars at an angle. You run the risk of it unraveling. I know some swear by the angle cut saying it concentrates the smoke on the center of the tongue but it seems bogus to me. Put smoke in your mouth and you'll get it all over your tongue and palate.

Rev.

I use a Table top V cut.

Now i know there are those of you out there saying

"V-cut on a torp?"

Yes v-cut a torp. Its awesome

Nice tutorial. Thanks for sharing.

I will occasionally cut a top at an angle. I had heard that about concentrating the smoke on the palate. I don't notice a great difference, however.

As others have said - Great pics!

Those palios are amazingly sharp!

One day I'll have the BALLS to rock the handlebars! :tu

Love the pictures, great post! Would love to be able to grow any kind of mustache, but alas it's not in my genes...

I find with the Palio, one cut works on even the biggest of cuts.

Great Mustache. Need any mustache wax? I have an extra tin or two of this lying around I think:

Or I have a recipe for some you can make at home.
