How long to season?

I just got a new 100 ct humidor to hold my overflow cigars. I've had a shot glass filled with distilled water sitting in the humidor for about 48 hours. It is holding approximately 70% humidity using a calibrated HydroSet adjustable hygrometer. How long should I season the humidor? Should I go ahead and place my 2 oz tube of 65% Heartfelt beads in the humidor the assist in seasoning?

Season it until it holds 65% with the beads alone for several hours. Take out the shot glass, add the beads (properly wet), and let it sit. Once it reaches 65% and stays for several hours (over night), you're good to go!!

I would wait one more day then if it is still holding 70%, fill 'er up! I wouldn't use beads for any part of the seasoning process, just to maintain.

Patience is the key when seasonig.
