I recently crossed a line I never thought I would, because I have a freaking sickness!!!! SO I'm wondering how much is too much for a box of cigars in your mind? This question of course assumes that there are 25 sticks in the box. SImply select the highest point you are willing to go to in the list.

For non CC, $400.. But it has to be a good deal, like normally $350.. And if you don't want a whole box, you can find BOTLs here that you can split with.. Also if you get in on cigar passes, you can expand your variety using your premiums

Its more of a curiosity question to me than anything else lol.

So far my record is $1200 and a close follow with $900... Damn those EL's and books.

So far I'm still trying various brands- have not purchased a box. As to what I'd pay for a box- well, to quote Teddy Kennedy: "I'll cross that bridge when I get to it!"

I won't spend more than $100 on a box but there is a reason for that. I'm just a college student, I simply don't have the funds. Now if I were rich or even just had an income that could cover a $100+ box of stogies, then the sky would be the limit. And don't tell me I can use my credit card either, even that is close to maxed out (school, transportation, etc) :hn

For me personally, I would have to say about $200. I have a few boxes of VSG's that I paid about $175 each for. A box of Padron Principe Maduro is probably in my near future as well as soon as I find it around $150 - $160.

These are my two favorite smokes and they can be had under $200 a box so that's why I set my limit there.

It all depends on how much money I have. If I have enough money to buy a box of the best cigars known to man then I'll do it. I'll let you know when that day comes....

I'm a fver guy and box splits so far. Still new and figureing out what all I like. I have smoked a few "prememiums" that were bombs/gifts and while they were good and appreciated, would I have paid for them. I don't think so. My funds don't allow for it and in a lot of ways too many are in the more reasonable range that taste good. But reasonable to me may not be the same as a individual who makes 6 figures a year. So goes life.

Another way to look at it, Taboo Twist $4.5 - Padron XYZ $25. Is the Padron even if I had the $$$ 5.5 times better? Prolly not to my young palette. But to each his own enjoymrnt.

depends on the availability of the stick, how much I like it, and the aging prospects - I haven't reached the point where I put down more then 1000 on a RE that I haven't tried before, but it crosses my mind now and again

I draw a line in the sand at $8 a stick, CC or NC. It would be financially irresponsible of me to shell out more than that.

But sheeit, my car will be paid off soon, and I'm due for 2 raises this year, so I may bump that limit up a bit. :D

I put down $400, because that has been my limit right now. If I had an unlimited amount of $$, I'm sure my price would be much higher. For now, there are PLENTY of premium cigars to be had in the $250-$350 range for what I like. I would like to see the stashes of the guys who said "whatever it takes" though!:hn
