I found a new breakfast smoke

Last week I was putting the finishing touches on packing for our vacation and decided to light up since I was outside anyway. On a whim I grabbed a Carlos Torano Exodus silver, mostly because it is a robusto and I didn't have much time. I am surprised and happy to say that it made for an excellent breakfast smoke! Excellent indeed. In fact I had another yesterday while grilling and I may be on a exodus silver kick for a while!

btw while on vacation my tat red label torpedo was so plugged it was like drinking a hamburger through a straw. But we did go to the Dogfish Head restaurant and I got some six packs to take home. I had two 90 minute IPA's at the restaurant and I had just had two gin and tonics (generous with the gin) before going. Had to go for a little walk after that one!

I really like all the Toranos out there...especially the silver. Never had one for breakfast though. But hey, this weekend might be different. I'm taking an extra day off to get a little R&R and a breakfast smoke might just be in order.
 
Torano 1959 Exodus Silver..That was the first box I ever purchased. Still have a few left. GREAT smoke in my opinion. I'll have to break one out and see if I still feel that way after tumbling down the dark side.

Heeyyyy, this is good news. I picked up a couple of those robustos recently, and they have been resting in the humi. I really like the Exodus 1959 box press figurado, but I am looking forward to the Silver. Especially now.


Not sure if I can pull it off at Breakfast, though.
 
When I have been having a morning smoke I have actually been going with the Torano Casa Torano Robusto. A nice mild and creamy smoke. May have to try a silver next time. Thanks for the tip!

:tpd: That has been my go-to for a morning smoke. The simple choice of a robusto (all my casa toranos are toro size) led to my happy discovery!
 
2 IPA's, 2 gins, are you sure you clipped the end off that Tat? Have a few Torano Exodus in the humi, have to give them a try as a morning smoke. :ss
