I Got Bombed!

I had the idea that when I was ready for it that I would simply buy some travel humidors, like two of them. Then I could do trades and pack the sticks with surity that they would arrive properly hydrated and then the other guy could pack my sticks in the travel humidors and send em back. have I over thought this?

That's an interesting idea. Off the top of my head I would say that it would be good in that you are almost guarenteed that the sticks will arrive without damage. The down size for me would be the weight...I'm not sure how much extra weight and cost this would bring. Still...an interesting idea.

When I do trades, I ship with Water Pillows, or a small thing of 65% beads to insure they'll arrive properly humidified in case they get held over (I've had packages spend 2 weeks going from MD to Washington using USPS Priority)

That's wild...I cannot imagine it taking that long. Did you send around Christmas or was just one of those things that happens?

Good idea, but you have to make sure the cigars aren't loose inside the travel humidor - they would easily get bumped around in there and damaged from the wood.
