Acid Atom Maduro- guess all flavored cigars don't suck!

The only one I've had before was the blue kuba one which felt like smoking rolled up flowers with sugar on them. Not cool. For some reason I felt like trying the Acid atom Maduro today. Loved it! I guess the Maduro helps to get more tobacco flavor out of it. The fragrance was a little much when lighting but it dies off a little and blends nicely with the more full bodied cigar. I smoked this to the nub and still wasn't sick of the flavor. Clearly not an everyday smoke, but I'll be picking these up now and then for something different. Any of the other maduros from acid decent without overpowering floral notes?

You won't find me smoking a flavored cigar. I'm still new to this hobby and I want to explore the different varieties of tobacco. It is amazing what a good blend will do. Where the tobacco was grown, where the seeds originated, aging processes, fermentation, etc. I just feel like adding artificial flavors is sort of...wrong. :ss
To each his own though, I gotta buddy who smokes black n milds and is happy as a lark

The only flavored cigar i smoke is the acid blondie, try it. Nice short smoke, i like them when im drinking and freinds are smoking cigs.

Yea I know what you mean. They'd never replace any of my regular smokes, but to me, they're nice to try every so often. The only reason I liked the atom maduro is because the floral fragrance was less noticible than the other I had, so it still felt like I was smoking a cigar, ha.

I used to love Acids when I started out. The flavors were sweet and helped me slowly adjust to plain tobacco. Right now I think the Atom Maduro is the only full size Acid I can smoke. And the Cold Tea Infusion. They won't take place of any Padron but it's a nice change up when something completely different strikes me.

A buddy gave me an Acid Nasty. I was expecting to hate it but like the change of pace. Of course it smelled and tasted like a joint when i torched it so that may have helped my feelings about liking it

Smoked an Acid Kuba Kuba years ago.
I still remember it, and not a fond memory either.
Tasted like it was dipped in cheap cologne.
I could not finish the cigar.

but.... That's why they make different cigars.
I suppose some like them.

Although I used to smoke a lot of Acid's, it has died down as I got more acquainted with "real" cigars. I still find Acids a good change of pace and they are EXCELLENT when you find yourself in mixed company with non-smokers. They seem to be much more open to me lighting up an Acid than a non-infused cigar.

The Kuba Kuba is one of their stronger infused choices. The Atom Maduro, Acid One, Cold Infusion Tea and Extra Ordinary Larry seem to be a little more tame. I'd also look into the Java, Sauza or Kahlua lines for something that isn't so flowery.

I got one as a gift, and my wife liked it, so I keep a few around, and from time to time I will smoke one when in her presence and I don't want to piss her off, or field the remarks that are sure to follow. Funny how sometimes she likes the smell of a cigar, but there's no rhyme or reason to it. Just sometimes she will say, "now THAT one smells pretty good." But there is no logic to which cigar it might be, it is more of a girl thing, what time of the month or whatever. But Acids, she always likes. Especially the Kuba Kuba, but I don't like those too much. 1400CC and Blondie is a little better, or the little ones in a tin.

That's why I have my own smoking room, and she never comes in.

I bought a sampler of Acid cigars about 6 months ago to see what they were about. I liked the One but didn't like any others.
