I'll second that. I picked up the 3 for $10 deal on the monte platinums and had the torpedo one day at my office. It really knocked me back. The funny thing is I really like strong cigars. I would recommend the Taboo SFO by the way, strong and smooth.

Depends what you really want? Strong Flavor or Strong Nicotine?

Strong Flavor:
Camacho Coyolar Puro Perfecto No. 1 (strongest I have ever tasted, punch in the mouth type)

Nicotine:
AVO 80th (Only cigar I have ever noticed Nicotine in & know many people who can't smoke these for that reason.)

If you planning on ordering a few cigars rather than picking them up from a local shop, I'd recommend the El Cobre or a Top Shelf Signature Select Red Label (Puro Corojo).

If your looking for locally available smokes I'd echo the Camacho Coyolar and Joyo de Nicaragua suggestions.
 
I'll chime in on the LFD also, but the AVO 80 is one that you smoke after a big dinner! So reward yourself with a big steak dinner and then try the AVO!

One that kicked my a** recently was a Padilla Obsidian that had been aging for about the last 6 months.

I was going to jump on the LFD bandwagon with the LFD Oscuro Especial but since your local does not carry the line, I would probably say JDN Antano or a Comacho Coyolar. The Triple Maduros are full bodied but I wouldn't call them an ass kicker. Not their current offerings anyway.
Whatever you choose just be sure to eat a nice meal prior to smoking otherwise it may really kick you in the balls and end up being an unpleasant experience.
 
The Camacho Coyolar is a top-notch a$$ kicker (for most humans).

Partagas Black Label - whether or not it's enough of an A$$ Kicker depends on your personal taste, but it's one of my favorites overall, and certainly of the full-bodied, full-flavored variety.

I just cannot believe no one has said the Camacho Triple Maduro. I would put that on par with the LGD Chisel and clearly stronger then a LFD DL which I think is more medium-full and not Full.

Agreed--and I second LFD double ligero, chisel, etc. And let's not forget the VSG Spellbound (not as strong asd an LFD, but the sheer size will get you that buzz... and it's one of the best cigars on the market)
 
Where can I find a good price online for the Chisel's? They have the LFD line by me in NNJ, but not the LG Chisel's! This stick looks like a reall arse kicker!!!!
 
If you want to go the cheap route go for the Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Gran Consul, a tasty 60 RG beast that will work you over pretty well. If you wan't something pricey go for the Tatuaje Cojonu (2003 or 2006). Anyways, best of luck, don't throw up :tu
