I have been very confused trying to figure out all the Illusione vitolas.
So I made a list to keep track of all of them.

I believe this is the latest correct list (feel free to edit as appropriate):

1 9.25 x 48
M7 6.5 x 58
23 Culebra
888 6.75 x 48
eccj 5.625 x 46
hl 7.5 x 40
f9 6.25 x 44
2 5.25 x 52
4/2g 7.5 x 49
mk 5.125 x 42
68 4 x 44
88 5 x 52
cg4 5.625 x 46

Those MKs are delicious... I picked up 2 when I was in FL... smoked one and holding onto the second as though it were the holy grail.

:D

Try em with coffee first thing in the morning. It's the breakfast of champions...:tu

Thanks for the post! Love the Illusiones!!!:tu

What is the difference in the cigars that have the gold and the black on the banding?

If I remember the story correctly - There was concern that the smaller ring gauge cigars did not meet expectations with the regular blend that the Illusiones use - so they had to do some tweeking, change things around a bit, and indicate the different blend by the gold lettering on the band

So what is the difference in the blends? I've seen so many positive posts about them all and I've put in a request from my wife for a box of the hl's for my birthday. I thought the blends were all the same just in different sizes.

This is an example of why I am confused. What is the difference between the MK and the MK Ultra?

To quote New Havana...If you dare to try an even fuller blend than the new -mk-, give this one a try! This is not the production -mk-, but a different version of it. Not for the faint hearted, or to be smoked on an empty stomach!

This has to be one of the most unique and exciting blends I have tried since Tatuaje brown, and I really love all the sizes, but find the smaller ring gauge better, similiar to Tat Havanas VI. The CG:4 and ECCJ are amazing!! The Ultra is a more potent version of the mk. Mk Ultra was a gov. experiment with LSD in the 60's. The gold band is only found on 2 or 3 sizes and really has no special distinction, as far I know. These cigars have a great price-point, as far I am concerned.

I just hope the production and quality levels stay up!!

That's pretty much it. With the smaller ring sizes, you can only get around 3-4 components max in them whereas the larger sizes have up to 6 different components. We built these sizes around one particular component to feature that particular flavor profile.
