Illusione ~MK~ Photographic Review

OK, I got a box of these yesterday and couldn't wait any longer to try one. My one word review.

SUBLIME

The longer story.

I'm starting to wonder why everyone raves so hard about CCs when there are readily available sticks like this. Granted, there is a limited supply, but this was a fantastic cigar. Took me 1.5 hours to smoke. Great flavor - the sweet spot started at the third puff and lasted to 1.25 inches left. I started HERFing a little too fast and it got hot and I ruined the flavor, so I'll be more careful next time and get myself a nub tool, because I'm gonna suck every morsel of flavor out of the next one. Dion - thanks for creating such a wondrous temptation. I might be able age these... for 3 months. hahahaha Copious clouds of rich smoke. Perfect draw. Still a little wet from shipping, but dry-boxing or letting them rest for a month in the humi should cure this. I'm still licking my lips hoping the flavor will last a bit longer.

I used to live just outside of Rochester in Penfield for about 3 years. Great area.
 
I bought two of the MKs a couple of months ago and just came in from smoking one. I was sitting on the deck, watching my kids play soccer in the back yard with the neighbors. This stick had some kick to it and changed flavors several times. The burn was razor sharp and it never went out, even when I let it sit for a few minutes while going in and out of the house. It was more complex than the Illusione 88 that I smoked several months ago (I really liked the flavor of the 88, too) and will definitely be buying some more of these. I have tried several of the Illusione line and have enjoyed every one of them. Quality smokes.
 
Great review and nice pics! I've only had the 68 and that was thanks to Smokyskotch's recent box split. I've got to try one of these!
 
Great review. I've yet to smoke a Illusione that wasn't excellent. The CG:4 is currently my goto smoke. Now I'm going to have to try the MK.
 
Nice review, have not smoked a cigar from this line but I do have one in the humi. Will have to put it in the on deck circle!

Never had anything aside from the 68 and the MK... both exceptional!

The MK are out of this world. They are a fantastic rich smoke that you just cant have one. I have gone through a box and a half in a 2 weeks.
 
I love the Illusione line... But I have a hard time getting my hands on them. Great review.... Kinda like the McDonald's commercials. Where at the end you jump up off the couch and run to the closest store to get some... LOL.
