Indian Tabac Maduro Super Fuerte

AD720

Alpha Silverback
I finally got a chance to light up one of these tonight.

I got them as a part of the Rocky Patel sampler from CI.

First Impression -

Really beautiful cigar. Deep, dark wrapper. Smells great pre-light.

Smoke -

First Half:
Lit it up and enjoyed the first couple of puffs. A little more robust then I am used to, but not as intense as I was expected. A little tight on the draw and not a whole lot of smoke. Light salt and pepper ash.

Second Half:
About half way in the flavor started to get a little more intense. The draw felt like it loosened up quite a bit and the smoke got a lot thicker. Creamy.

3/4:
About 3/4 of the way in I had to sit back and take a little break. As I said, I am just graduating from mild smokes and getting into medium bodied cigars. A bit too much vitamin N. I had a sip of Dr. Pepper (which I felt complimented it very well!) and a tootsie roll and got right back on track after about 2 minutes.

Last 1/4:
Got down to the wrapper and removed it. Still very nice flavor, but it felt like it was getting more intense. It might have just been a cumulative effect. Chucked it with about 1 1/2 inches left.

Overall impression:

Nice smoke, not too strong. I'm sure after a little more experience I won't be so sensitive to a stronger cigar than I am used to. I am a fast smoker and I'd bet slowing it down a bit would help too. Would definitely smoke another.

I hope my newbie review was at least interesting, even if it is way off.:tu

Thanks for the review! I enjoy these from time to time, they are a good quality smoke. If anything, Rocky is pretty spot on when it comes to quality construction. :tu

I love these sticks, nice rich sweet spicy syrupy thing going on with these. Great smoke, at around 2.00 a stick, very tough to beat.

Nice review!! I may have to try one of these! I love RP!!!

Good reveiw. These are some of my favorites, especially when you can buy them on sale for $27.00/20 every once in a blue moon. That reminds me, I'm down to my last 50. Time to re-order:)

The Super Fuente line is a solid choice in the under $2 range. Along with the 5 Vegas Serie A, I've been enjoying them since I first started smoking cigars and still light one up every once and a while.

Nice review! I just had my first of a 5'er that I ordered a couple weeks ago. I was about to post a review myself. This was one of the best smokes i've ever had. Very smooth throughout. Wonderful creamy flavor and never harsh. Particularly tasty with a nice cream stout. After finishing my belicoso, I immediately ordered a box from the devil.

I don't care for most RP cigars, but I love the ITSF's!

That's what I grab when "I just want a cigar" but don't want to think about it too much.
