It is 65 degrees in ohio, so travelingdog and I decided we had to go burn seom shubbery! It was also REAL windy so getting a light was ROUGH!

The ITSFBM is a dark cigar but by no means black, it had a rough texture with a few bulging veins and a potent aroma pre light. As stated we had some serious gusts so lighting was tough and after 7 or 8 matches i just got one lit and shoved it right to the foot to get it lit!

This was my first maduro where i truly got a sweet taste and I liked it alot. The draw was a little tight but by no means un smokable! My burn was a little touch and go and i had a few time where i lost a small burn and had to gently blow to get back but for the most part it was self correcting once it got hit again.

The flavor was not overwhelming, mild body definitely, but it was interesting for someone new to maduro's. Very consitent until the last 1/4 where it got a little harsh and a little more tight, this is also when i had some more burn problems but again, this is not a bad smoke at all.

I think for me letting it sit another month would have helped, seemed like it just was not recovered from the shipping and really what is 2 weeks in my humi in the life of this cigar?!?! I would try this again!

I tend to always have a few of these somewhere in the humis. As you can tell, they tend to sit around. Whether that is intentional or not, the results are always good. Very solid cigar, at an excellent price. All you have to do is give it some time. Also have had some burn problems. Give it a pre-light draw. If it's tight, don't even try to light it. Best bet is to dry box it for a good while and that should help.

Great review. I`ve smoked quite a few of them. Have some double coronas natural resting in the humi since last july. Wow I'm actually ageing cigars now. ......:ss..Brian

And thats the key for me, I havent had my own stock long enough to really AGE anything, when I look through my cigar briefcase tasting notes i notice alot of times I feel like osme age could do some good simply because the few that I have had sitting for 2-3 months were fantastic!

I absolutely love everything that this guy makes. I have had these in the humi for a while now and pull them out all the time.

I absolutely love these smokes, great smooth choco/syrupy sweetness with some spice at right around 2.00 a stick. The corona, which in the reasonably priced maduro sector is a vitola hard to come by, is also an awesome stick. Accurate review, but I love these.

My buddy smoked the same thing, just not box pressed... it was a corona i got from CI member vstrommark
Ah, hopefully they stopped doing that. I was wondering this because I just looked through the CI magazine and they are not box pressed in the picture, maybe they stopped. I still like these, just my personal preference.

I also have 10-15 of the ITSFM in my Humi
The first time I smoked one I was amazed how good it was. I started off a big fan of RP and they still hold a place in my heart.
