Indian Tabac

rkt

Last night I rummaged through the humi and found a
smoke that I bought about 8 months ago. I believe
it is an Indian Tabac Tomahawk mad. It is about
5.5x52 approximately. It had an average look,
not a work of art but nothing wrong with it either.
It was firm but not hard and it cut cleanly.
The prelight draw had spicy taste.

Now I was smoking this outside and we had a pretty
strong wind. I tucked myself up in the cover of the
porch and fired it up. With the wind I could not do
the best job of lighting with a conventional lighter,
but the cigar corrected on its own. I noticed right
off this cigar was strong and I was happy about this
since it was windy outside, I would be able to taste
it and smell it.

Then.....you know you're in trouble when...
by the time you had smoked and inch you are already
getting a buzz. I'm talking the kind of buzz you get
after you have smoked and entire cigar with some power.
I was talking to a buddy on the phone while smoking
and I realized I was not doing a good job of keeping
up with the conversation. By the time I finished I
was sooooooo buzzed, I was sweating and dizzy. I didn't
want to smoke this one past the band. I went into the
house downed a big glass of water and went and sat down.
Wooooooeeeeee!!! I have never had a smoke this powerful!

The smoke did not have remarkable flavors, a little salty
leathery at first and strong toasty flavor, quite a bit of
straight tobacco flavor. Lots of smoke. A cigar of this
size did not last too long, about a hour. The ash was
firm because I only tapped it off twice. This smoke did
leave a rather strong aftertaste this morning that I'm still
trying to get over.
