BD Strummer and I popped into the local B&M yesterday at lunch to "look around". I saw something my eyes have never seen. A half-filled box of Party 160s was on the top shelf. As sold, they are sans-cello in their cloth wrapper. Mind you, $23 a stick. Had to take a look and OMG!!!. Those babies were dusted in lovely, white plume. Some more than others, but a nice coating on most. I did pick one up and rubbed it. Couldn't help it! At the going rate, I would think they've sat there a couple of years or more, plus they're located off the beaten path of shelving. I couldn't pull the trigger, my wife would leave me, but I wish I could've. No, it wasn't mold. The displays had 68F and 60 RH.
