Is it ok to smoke stogies in your house?

When I had my own "room" I could smoke in there, I just made sure the ventilation was decent. Now my "room" is above the garage, far away from the house (but heated) so I smoke in here. When we remodel the house, this will probably go away, so I'll have an office in the home again, and will be able to smoke in there. I don't smoke all that often so it's not too big a deal.

Even if I wasn't married, I like clean fresh air as much as anyone so I would want to limit it to one room. A very comfy, relaxing room to be sure, but one room.
 
Well, since my roommate smokes cigars as well, it's inside, it's outside, it's all over the apartment. Now if I could just get him to stop bumming my cigars...
 
SSSSSshhhhhhhhhh, please don't say it loud did anyone say smoking? what makes you thinks so? did you ever see me with a cigar in my mouth??

Ok, I'll admit it but please don't tell my wife.
 
I seem to get dirty looks from people just about anywhere I smoke in public...:c except my backyard.

Same here. My wife has no problem with me smoking in the house anytime of the year. However, I'm the one that has the problem with it and will only smoke in the house in warm weather with a cross breeze blowing through for ventilation. In the winter I smoke in my man cave. Some people call it a garage.:)
 
I laughed at the huge percentage of UH UH GET OUT.

My girl can't stand some of them like SO PAM Alts, Pedromo seconds, 5 vegas gold...these are a problem for her when I am outside let alone inside. Inside is out of the question.
Even outside, our little pitbull pups start sneezing at me, and wont cone say hello for the whole hour or so. those rug rats!
BUT IF I am smoking RP's, my girl is fine with it it does not bother her. I call her high maintainence for that one.

anyone know why this is?
 
I'm single, but I don't smoke in my house. I smoke in the barn when I have to smoke indoors due to weather conditions.
 
If by 'inside' you mean the freezing garage in the dead of winter, yes I get to smoke "inside."

If I lit up in the house itself the spousal unit would probably shoot me. Twice.

the advantages of being a crusty old koot that lives alone in his own house - if it bothers you that I smoke whatever I want to in my own house - you can leave - the door is in the same place that it was when you came in. :chk

Smoking indoors = death by firing squad.
Outdoors is always fine as long as its not blowing in through the windows or anything.
 
Like other Brothers/Sisters here with kids... no friggin way. I wouldn't subject my boy to that and the wife would never allow it. I own a B&M, so I have one going almost all day. I'm not real hot to light one up when I get home anyhow.
