I was looking at the horribly over priced cigar shops around Pasadena (100%+ over MSRP is the standard) and came across some interesting stuff - only one picture though.
First, the picture, is the plume or mold... or perhaps something else? This shop had a lot of super high end stuff and not just a few either (multiple boxes of Opus X and God of Fire). The issue is that some of the other things were a little questionable...
There was a smaller cigar that looked similar, with stuff on the inside of the cellophane, but it looked like it was somehow water damage, not plume or mold... there was a RP Olde World Reserve that was... I want to say soggy; I picked it up and it squished in my fingers (I was being gentle too) without any noise, and then held the squished shape when I quickly replaced it. It didn't feel wet - just had the texture of being squishy and soggy.
There were also a number of destroyed cigars on shelves in their walk in humidor - I'm talking split nearly from cap to foot.
Anyway, I really just wanted to know about the cigars pictured, and I guess the soggy feeling RP.
