Ha, it's that way in all stores. Man, I've heard some crap from gun salesmen and motorcycle salesmen that's just as bad.

And yeah, I was in West Coast Cigars in San Jose and there was this bald youngish guy who didn't know crap about cigars.

Don't know bad information can be worse than a blank stare. But to help the young man and to pass on the wisdom you have already achived would be the best way to help him on his quest to be a true help to others.

THat's a shame, but the motto "Buyer Beware" is there for a reason.
Becoming an educated consumer takes these people out of the loop to give bad info to those who don't know better.

While it would be nice to get factual information at a B&M, I tend to do as much research as I can before buying anything so I know the good and bad of a product.

Takes longer but I'm happier with my purchase int he end.

I came to the Padron humidor and looked longingly at the PAMs. He then informed me the 26 was better, because it was pre embargo. .

My comeback would have been:

"Son, the only thing in this store that is pre-embargo is me."
