JFR = Edge Killer?

I've tried to smoke two of these foul things just cant get past half way. I don't think they compare to the Edge at all. Just my :2 worth.
...:ss..Brian

I have never had an edge but I can say that the JFR is one of the best cigars out there for the price.. If you can find them

There is a really good review on these over @ Keepers of the Flame....Gonna have to stop by the local B&M later to see if they have any :tu

In my experience the JFRs seem to have more similarity with the Illusione line... I guess I haven't really smoked enough of either, but the JFR price point is hard to beat.

My Edge Killer is the Omar Ortez. Similar tastes IMHO but I feel that the Omars taste is more appealing than the Edge.

I've only seen the JFRs in a few B&Ms and the prices are equal to an Edge. I'm never giving up my Edges.

I will second that. Omars are my favorite Nic cigars right now.

Smoking a JFR torpedo right now. Fantastic smoke, but not as good as an Omar. Very Nicaraguan flavor though, a nice depth and a spicy kick and a long finish that lingers on the palate. I've never had an Edge corojo, so I can't compare. Had an Edge maddie and they are better than the JFR maddie.

Naw, I don't think the JFR's are gonna be Edge killers for the simple fact that.......they don't advertise/market/promote like RP does. So they'll never gain market share which won't allow for much shelf space.

Other than that I don't think the JFR is any less expenesive or better than The Edge and the few I have smoked always had burn problems.

never had a JFR or seen a B&M that sells them. Is this a nationwide brand or just regional? I've heard good things about them I just can't find any to try.
