Joya De Nicaragua Serie C

LastClick

"I dunno"
I was looking around some cigar sites just to see what's new and I found the Joya De Nic Serie C cigars at pretty reasonable prices.
The search did not pull anything up so.........

Has anyone tried these yet, and if so what's your opinion?

Also they are described from the manufacturer as:

The newest member of the Joya de Nicaragua family has a special Connecticut wrapper from Ecuador.

Its rich color and beautiful sheen come from a special fermentation process developed by our experts at the factory. The filler used in this special blend is of Nicaraguan origin and it's aged for a full three years.

The cigar has a bold, smooth flavor yet is full bodied in the Joya de Nicaragua tradition. It's for sure one of the richest Connecticut wrapped cigars on the market.

A bit milder than the Antano, mostly due to the Connie wrapper. I believe it is the same JdN blend. Nice flavors with a nic kicker. :tu

Thanks for the recommendation.
Im going to pull the trigger on a fiver to test them out. But so far I like the Antano the best out of the JDN line.

Yeah, I think they took the same Antano blend & just put a CTS wrapper on it. It smooths out the flavor profile, but the cigar still has quite a kick. In fact, the damn thing is downright sneaky. I've smoked a handful of the toro size.

I bet you're right, probably the same blend just different wrapper, but it will be interesting to see how the Connecticut leaf goes with the antano blend. I chose the toro's as well.

You can't go wrong with a JdN...they're Nic Puros and are friggin fantastic.
They taste better than they cost.

I had one this morning and loved it! I have/had 10 in my humidors for about 6+ months and it aged nicely. You won't be disappointed :) CI has a great JdN mega-sampler for an awesome price and has 4 different blends.

I smoke and love the ant, but did not care for the C. But I am not a con fan.

PS
The price is going up. JdN was just purchased by Drew Estates and the Ant went up $20 a box in VA this month.

Yeah, I just googled JDN (due to your post) and their web site is back up. They confirmed Drew like you said.

At another web site the owner told me to expect price increases due to the distributor swap. Hope it's not to much. $20 a box is quite a jump.

Wow, the price increase blows. I have 10 in my humi right now. I better pick up a box soon.

Opened up a sampler pack I got 6 months ago or so. Tried all 4 of the JDN. The C was very good. Back in the early 70's JDN was my go to cigar. Now they are back. As good as the C is when my sampler is gone I'm only going to smoke the Antano 1970. As good as the others are why bother when it's such a steal.

The government may need to restructure the 700 billion bail out (our $$) to include cigars if the prices go up to much more! :hn

I agree that the Ant is by far the best stick in the group, haven't tried the c yet, but assume that it wont be as good as the 1970.
