u but that's JMHO.The Alts aways get a bad rap on these boards! For a measley buck a stick, why not try them? If you like them, you have just saved yourself a lot of money.
I just paid $6.50 for an Aston Magnum that sucked beyond belief. Far worse than any Alt I ever smoked! The point is any cigar brand can be inconistant and the Alts tend to be very inconsistent. Alts will not taste very much like the cigar they are supposed to duplicate.
One of the best cigars I ever smoked was an Alt to LGC Wavell with a maduro wrapper. I have bought several bundles of these, but have never had one as good as that first one.
But, you don't have much to lose by giving them a try.
