Kinda Wet

I just won my first auction at Cigarbid (no wonder you big apes call that place the "devil site")! Got a great deal on a couple of five packs of Gurkha Legends and CAO Black (just wanted to try the CAOs). When I took them out, they seemed, well, kind of soggy. I don't mean they were dripping wet or anything, just a little more soft and spongy than what I'm accustom to. Should I leave them out overnight to dry out a little or just chuck them in the humi and leave them to their fate?

Has anyone else gotten there cigars like this?

I'd toss them in the humi and let em get acclimated for awhile. Drying them out too quickly might cause further issues when you finally light one up. I've never ordered from C-Bid myself, but I have gotten overhumidified sticks from my B&M many times, and usually all it takes is a little humi time to get them right.

Almost all online retailers ship their cigars a little "wet" to avoid drying out during shipping time. Just let them sit in the humi for a week or so and they should slowly dry out.

cbid has been the worst offender that i've found as far as shipping wet-after a few tries, i figured they need at least 2 wks (if ya store at 70%) or a month (for those who like 65%) to acclimate-it sucks waiting, but i've wasted less sticks since i started doing this-this is just my experience, not a hard & fast rule, so YMMV, but it's worked well for me-hope this helps
