Nice, but seams like you keep going through Humidors. I bought this one and it is serving me very well.

I'd definately spend the extra $40-50 and get the vicksburg and be set for a LONG time instead of keep on upgrading

Personally, i like the one one you picked. if thats the capacity you want, its a gorgeous one!

I also like the 300ct. that onlyonerm picked out, very classy!

i just got the "vick" about 3 weeks ago. took about 4-5 days to season. damn near got er filled. it says its a 500 count, but you'd be pretty hard pressed to fit 500 sticks in there. i've got 5 boxes, or the cigars from 5 boxes, a few bundles and 4 or 5 different samplers in it. went with the western humidifier with 50/50 and its holding a pretty constant 65% thoughout w/out any kind of circulating device.
from what i've seen so far this has been a great choice to go with...but like they say, it's one hell of a slippery slope and i'm sure before too long i'm goin for the 150 qt. cooli. damn the bad, er, good luck.

this might help your decision a bit.

think im gonna go with the vick, how hard is the seasoning process? my little desktops just get rubbed down and 24 hours later they are aready. Is it much harder with the vick?

seasoning is a piece of cake. all i did was put a shallow dish of distilled water in the bottom, stuck all the dividers and trays in, closed the lid and watched my hygrometer through the pretty glass lid and viola, in less than a week i was ready to stock it up. i've also seen where people heat the water, i.e. put it in the microwave for a few minutes, then transfer it to the humi whilst its steamin. some say this helps speed up the process. i didn't even have to wipe down the inside.
