Figured I would review these since I did not see a review for them. Picked up a box of these on cbid (took a chance and picked up a box (10 per box) for $50. They have a Cameroon wrapper from 1994 and only 2,000 boxes were made since that was all they could make with the 1994 wrapper. They are a corona size (5”x44). I grabbed a bottle of my favorite drink to go with cigars, water. Skim cut the end, the cigar had a nice draw.
Upon lighting the only flavor I noticed was a peppery taste. After about half an inch I thought I blew it buying a box of these. The peppery flavor predominated and that was it. Soon after regretting my purchase the flavor changed dramatically. A very complex flavor of cinnamon and cocoa with a hint of pepper predominated. Halfway through a woodsy note was added to the aforementioned flavors. A complex smoke which is reminiscent, to me, of some nice aged cigars I have smoke recently. Many subtle flavors with none of them smacking you in the face/palate. Also, there was lots of smoke from this small cigar. As I continued to the last third molasses sweetness was added to the mixture to complement the other flavors. These flavors continued until the end. Overall, a great cigar. If you get a chance to pick some up I would highly recommend. I would be interested in the opinions of any others who have tried them. Now I wish I had bought more than one box!! I sent one of these to RevSmoke in an NST, warned him that I had not tried them yet, and now would like him to return it immediately. Just kidding Todd!
I would rate these a 9.5 out of 10. :tu:tu Two thumbs up
Didn’t take any pictures because I didn’t know I was going to do a review.
