La Herencia de Cuba

Commander Quan

The Cheese stands alone
I was gifted this smoke by Bruisedawg at the Cleveland Herf. After checking the website I believe that this one is called the "Don Roberto". It's 54x6.5 and the first thing I notice about it is the head it is completely flat on top and has a cuban style triple cap. Prelight this thing smells like a horse barn, in a good way, very much like straw or hay. After lighting it up I'm pulling good amounts of light gray smoke. Still very grassy. One side of this constantly burned slower than the rest then would catch up and burn slow again, not really enough to frustrate me just enough to notice. The ash fell of evenly every 3/4 of an inch or so. The taste of this cigar stayed very consistent to the end never harsh but never complex. It burn slow lasting a hour and 20 minutes, and was enjoyable the entire time. Thanks Bruisedawg for the chance to try this cigar I've never even heard of. Your generosity will not go unpunished!
