La Vieja Habana Cedar Chateau #1 Corojo Corona

Papichulo

DIABLO CANOSO
Tonight I am smoking another cigar that Borndead gave me, the La Vieja Habana Cedar Chateau #1 Corojo Corona. This is a value smoke. It is a 51/2 x 44, triple Nicaraguan mixed filler. I am a big fan of corojo cigars and have been waiting a few days to test drive her. Pre-light aroma was a-typical of a corojo. Nothing bitter about this smoke, just pure corojo body, which IMO smoked better then the Early Years line. This blew me away being it was a mixed filler and roughly a $1.00 - $1.50 per stick and I actually had an ash of 1 inch. The flavor was medium bodied and picked up in the second half. The finish has a creamy vermouth taste; almost dry. Construction was surprisingly decent for a mixed filler and it burned relatively even with lots of spicy smoke. For the money this s an enjoyable smoke;nothing complex. I hope you enjoy the pics. For a super value smoke not bad; surprising! Thanks Borndead.

Cheers
