CS Death Bookie
I went to one of my locals again today, the one that has been building a new qalk in humidor and got another treat. I spent about $35.00 and brought home the following.

From left to right:

Ash Experience - Connecticut Wrapper
The Miami Monsters (x2) the last 2 he had, got them gor $3.00 each
Fonseca Maduro from 1999
An original CAO Black from somewhere around 98
Drew Estate - Natural _ Dark Anger
Oliva Torpedo (x2) both from 1998
RJ Habano (couple years old)
Tatuaje - Not sure what size, long and pencil thin ($2.00 on this one)
Don Thomas Cameroon

I figure that for only $35.00 I couldn't go wrong, the Miami Monsters are usualy $12.00 a piece and the Tatuaje's are usialy between $12.00 and $18.00 depending on size so I figured that I made out okay. I have a few new sacrifices now for the Casino HERF.

Wow, nice pick up! I'm a big fan of that C.A.O. Black you picked up, especially the originals!

He's going to set aside a few more older gems for me as he unpacks all the older boxes in the humi. If your close to New Haven you should check it out, you might find a few prizes your self.

Nice Pickup...I could never the them for that price at my local B&M's. Stupid California Taxes

Nothing to do with taxes, he is trying to clear out some of his older stuff and is setting some really nice smokes aside for me as he comes across them. He's also trying to locate a couple of RYJ churchills that have a couple of years on them as well.:D It pays to support your local. And to occasionaly throw a nice smoke or two his way that he has never tried.:D

All that for 35? Damn. I spent rougly that a few months ago on 3 AF 8-5-8s, an HDM Excal 1, CAO Italia Piazza and Padron 4000. Those are good prices.

My local shop has some of those long-ass Tatuajes. I think you could light one up at lunch and smoke it through the evening.

Great score by the way.

Yes, the Tatuaje was $2.00!!!! I almost tripped over myself when he said it. And after carefuly inspecting the Fonseca, the CAO and the 2 Oliva's I found that they all have nice plume on them. Nice little plume crystals inside the cello wrappers. Not mold but honest to goodness real tasty looking plume. I can't wait to light one of these up.

Since the drive home from this shop was less than 5 minutes, letting them rest or age is a bit of a mute point. I think that I will be bringing several nicely aged cigars to that Casino HERF on the 4th. YEah hah!:D
