Let me share my day...

Big Young Ape
Well had the family over today and we boiled a hamper of crabbs and a sack of crawfish. I have a patio cover 14"X45" on the side of my house where my boat resides.I pull the boat out in the driveway and set some tables up one of which we put a 20" TV on with cable running through my office window and watch football while drinking beer, cooking and eating.Finished the evening with some Crown Royal and a Hemingway Classic while hosing everything offf and picking up. Colts played a hell of a game can't say the same about the Packers. My little girl and my neice had a great time on the swing set in the backyard. It was a great way to end the weekend.Hope everyone had as great of a Sunday as i did.

Sounds like a great time. Wish I had been there. The weather here sure isn't as nice as you describe.

Jeff

Sounds like a great day, I love crawfish. It's tough to get those little mudbugs up here though.

Go Vikes!

Ditto, I love crawfish. Hard to get in Chicago. Some good Cajan restaurants have great crawfish dishes here. Just wish there were more.

Nice Day, Over here at my house, we also had a family reunion and my mother did a Spanish Dish named "Paella", it is made with rice, seafood and some chicken, it is very good. We also had a nice day, but inside the house since over here is raining too

Sounds like a great time. On Mothers Day, 4th of July and Thanksgiving we have big family events. Everyone has a great time and then my wife and I complain about all the things our relatives did while here and then we forget and invite them over again. :D

The neices and nephews that get a bucket and bail the water out of the pool.
Or throw rocks in the pool.
The s-i-l that lets her 5/9 yr old kids carry their thanksgiving dinner plate into our formal living room with the white furniture so they can eat on the cocktail table (when the kids table was set up in the kitchen.)
Toilets always get clogged(lots of neices).
The other s-i-l that let her kids go into the master bedroom and lay on our bed(on the expensive bedspread) to watch TV while everyone else is outside(and they get into our dressers and closets)
The 15 year old that stands for a half hour just turning the porch light on and off.
The cousins that think 87 is too hot to be outside on the 4th and go in the house turn the A/C down to 68, turn on the ceiling fan and TV and lounge in our recliners.
The cousin that comes into the family room on Thanksgiving and asked the kids if they want to watch the Grinch when all the men are in there watching football.(we end up watching the Grinch)
Family isn't it great..... :)
