local BOTL dies in car crash

A local friend from another board passed away in a car accident last night. Chris was a key person in the MNCSA, a group of us that held cigar events to raise money for Make-a-Wish and Wishes & More.
While only in his 40's he is leaving behind 3 children and 1 grandchild.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers

from a local TV station's (WCCO) web site:

"The State Patrol says that in Isanti County, a pickup truck driver lost control in slush on Highway 95 and swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting a car head-on. The car's 47-year-old driver was killed. That victim's name isn't released."
