Looking for a B&M in Austin Texas

Going to be in Austin for a week in early July and would appreciate any recommendations for a good B&M from those in the area.

Where you staying? I stayed at the Renassaince and there is a B&M in the parking lot called Heroes & Legacies that had a nice selection.

I was at the Embassy Suites and I stopped by H&L and I was impressed. I didn't go into the lounge (it is a members lounge but I'm unsure the policy for out of town guests). The staff was extremely helpful and they had a pretty diverse selection of smokes. I'd recommend it!

I think you can pay a fee for a day pass...I would definatley ask. I just took mine back to the hotel and smoked on the patio.

I live in Austin and I'm not too big on Heroes and Legacies. Their selection is great but I just dont like the place all that much. I prefer pipe world. There are several locations. One is in round rock just north of austin at La Fronterra shopping center McNeil exit west of I-35. Never been to the other location, but its on or around burnet rd and anderson ln near Northcross Mall. I'm a "VIP" member at Pipe World and I love their selection and the owners have been nothing but nice and helpful. At the round rock location (not sure about the other) there is a small area with like 4 big leather chairs for a smoking lounge and you don't need to be a member. You can just walk in and smoke. Really like that place. I was in there twice last week and everytime I've been there in the last month or 2 they've had some opus x. They also had some ashton esg.

I forgot to mention...right next to Habana House is Opal Divines which is a cigar friendly place with great selections of scotch and beer. Perfect match! http://www.opaldivines.com/pennfield/index.html

HH would be my personal suggestion, but PW is good, too. Note that Austin is a smoking-ban city so any smoking at Opal Divine's will be on the patio. There are only two establishments at which you can smoke cigars indoors legally: Cool River on Parmer close to MoPac, and Little Woodrow's at Parmer & McNeil.
