Looking for a Cigar Lighter with Character, "Personality"

I've been a "lurker" for awhile now, and do enjoy the varied tastes and personalities of the posters around here. A good cross section!

I'm looking for a lighter, but with a character, or personality that makes it unique and a pleasure to own. Like the difference between a Palio and a cheapie cutter. The heft, the fit, the effortless precision mechanical sensation you feel when you use a Palio. It has that "something" that makes it special. And I'm looking for that in a lighter.

The Blazer torch is a great all around lighter that gets it done effortlessly every time. I want something a bit more special and different. If I could make an analogy, I'd compare it to a watch. The Blazer is my Timex IronMan. It's reliable, tough, works perfectly. But when I go out, I want something nicer, special. My budget won't permit a Rolex, but something nice and unique like a teak or bambo Nixon Rotolog watch would do fine! So nothing overtly expensive. $100 or so is my range. If one is cheaper, great. If not, that's what I'm willing to spend. I realize it's not a huge chunk of cash, but I know there must be something close to this range. And that's what led me to post here for my 1st time. Your help in finding this "mythical" lighter.

So please make recommendations, but more importantly, why you think it's special or unique. Does it make a beautiful "ping" sound when you open it? Does it feel nice in the hand? Does it have good heft? What details do you love? Those are the things I want to hear about as these sometimes seemed to be missed in reviews.

Thanks in advance, and thanks for having a great forum here.

I bought a beautiful Marble Vector triple torch from Rob @ www.taboocigars.com. It has a very nice weight, built in punch, dependable light with the 5 year vector warranty, and plenty of "Bling"! Check it out at Rob's site. With Rob's CS discount, you can purchase it for less than $60! Welcome to CS! I think you'll like it here!:tu

:tpd: my Vector Vulcan is a fantastic and beautiful lighter. Not only are they at Taboo he has them on sale for $34.95 at the moment. I have a chrome but I am sure the Mahogany is equally as good looking. I own a Blazer PB-207 and the Vector has been almost as reliable, only downfall is it burns through gas quickly with the triple flame.

S.T. Dupont in either the Ligne 2 or Gatsby if you want one of the best. Not a torch style, but rather a regular open flame with dual flame burner for cigars.

Many styles available in gold/silver/paladium with or without laquer finishes.

Not cheap by any means but I liken it to a fine swiss watch. I know its outside your budget, but many times used ones can be found for a decent price. They are the most solid lighters I have ever owned, and proud to be the owner of more than 1.
The attachment is one of the rare limited edition Cohiba versions

itt (im?) Corona makes a nice lighter that is a bit "dressier" than a Blazer. They are most noted for their pipe lighters but they make a few torch flame lighters that are nice looking and reliable.

I have a brushed chrome "Phaser" model for those White House dinners followed by cigars.
