Looking for donations for a good cause.

Horny for Zorny
Hey fellas,

My wife works for the Calvert Marine Museum and she is looking for donations for her silent auction. It's a non-profit museum dedicated to the preservation of the paleontology, estuarian biology and maritime history of the Chesapeake Bay region. This year's auction supports the historic Cove Point Lighthouse, the oldest operating lighthouse on the Bay. This lighthouse is in disrepair and all funds raised will help preserve it for future generations to enjoy.

(My wife wrote that part, I can't even spell half those words) Anyway, I plan on donating a humi and was wondering if any BOTLs were willing to donate a stick or two. Last year I donated a little sampler and box and it made well over 300 dollars.

If you're interested in helping or just checking out the Museum its:

Here's a couple pics of the lighthouse

When do you need the sticks by?
The sticks would have to be here by early October.

BTW. there will be lots of local politicians, police and possibly an Admiral so please keep a certain island's stock far far away:ss

Shoot me the info for the auction. I might just make it down and place a bid or 2 when it happens :D

We may be able to post this auction online. They pick out a select number of items for the average member could bid on, so I think I've got her talked into adding the C.S stuff to the E-bid. I'll post the link on here if the decide to do it.

Last year they had a Fighter Pilot experience donated by the Navy. It went for about 5 grand. They took a person up in a jet fighter and ran the winner through a training run.

They also had the White House's pastery chef come to your house and cook dinner for you. I forgot what that ended up going for.

So they have lots of very cool things to help raise money for the museum.

Thanks for all the guys that have offered to help. Deb never belives me when I tell her about how crazy the guys on here are and I'm glad I get to show here first hand. :)

I'll also be posting a tally of all the donations here and also the final results.

you know i got this covered. i should still have your address, so unless you've moved recently, you're all set :tu
