I have been smoking cigars for about five years now. I had my first cigar because my team won them in a golf tournament. We were told that the box of cigars was worth $200.00 and neither one of us smoked. I decided to take some back to a client of mine, who smoked cigars on regular basis.
On the way home we both decided to light one and the rest is history. In fact, I had trouble figuring out which end to light. I had never seen a cigar shaped like this one. Oh yeah, I saved some for my client.
Being really new to cigars I never really knew what I was smoking. In an effort to find out what cigar I smoked, I returned to Baton Rouge to visit the cigar shop that sponsored the prize. They told me it was a Perdomo Squared, but they were out of them. I have searched high and low for this stick without any luck. The closest thing that looks like it must be the Perdomo Reserve Maduro; however I have not seen one in this unique shape.
Let me describe: (approximates)
Wrapper : Maduro
Shape: Figurado (More like a pyramid with tip on the foot)
Size: 4.5 x 44
Band: La Tradicion Perdomo Reserve Cabinet Series Red
Mild to Medium
This smoke was one of the best I have ever had. I would like to find this particular blend again and in the same peculiar shape as before. If that's not possible will settle for the blend alone.
If anyone has had this particular cigar or know where to get them, please point me in that direction.
Thanks
