Looking for suggestions

I'm going to be turning 50 in a little over a month and am looking for an appropriate celebratory cigar. In my inventory and my personal stash I have:
-Padron 40th (10th anni of my 40th bday?)
-Perdomo Edicion de Silvio
-Stradivarius
-Casa Fuente
etc.

Should I pick one of these or do you have a better suggestion?

Jim

Don't fiddle around -- smoke the Stradivarius. I haven't tried one, but hear they're smooth and mild. Maybe smoke it early in the day -- then you'll have time for that second celebratory smoke later on.

Jim... I'm thinking 50 celebratory cigars from now up to your Birthday ! remember each one. With a little over a month, there might not be 50 days.. but live everyday like it's your B-day.

I've always wanted to find a havana from my birth year.. but it seems pretty elusive.

Jim, when are the 80th's due in? That would be a great celebratory stick. I might have a couple of older Opus sticks that would be nice for a special occassion.

If I had to compare this new cigar with another fine Núñez creation, it would probably be the Macanudo Vintage 2000 series

sound thrilling

Of those that you have, smoke the Padron.

Heh! I know, but CA does award that Macanudo a pretty high 9.3 rating. Mild cigars never do thrill me, personally, but as a wake-up smoke, he'll still have the rest of the day for the Padron or other tasty thrills. If it were my birthday, I'd probably reach past everything else in my stash and go right for the Cubans. :tu

Dude you have access to anything and everything, SMOKE EM ALL!!!!

I would smoke an aged and/or rare cigar like Opus, Anejo, Davidoff, or Avo 22. You can't go wrong with an aged Cuban either.

To me, a birthday is only as fun as the people I can celebrate it with. Therefore, I'd probably buy a box of something good, maybe the Padron's, and smoke them all with some friends.

:tpd: And get some good spirits to accompany them! :2

CA ratings are about as accurate as weathermen's "10 day forecasts". :r

True. I actually haven't found ratings from ANY source to be very meaningful. I generally prefer to scan through the opinions on Top 25 and CS to look for a consensus. But Stradivarius hasn't been around long enough to generate a track record.
