It actually stands for DHL Ground Residential. When I first signed up for the devil site somehow I indicated my address was a commercial one and when the shipped me winnings via DHL it would say DGC (DHL Ground Commercial).

My last DHL shipment from c-bid arrived 3 business days after the estimated delivery date. I live in MA and c-bid is in PA. So, the whole shipping process should only take 2 business days. That shipment took 5.

I'm going to open a customer service inquiry and see if they'll ship my winnings UPS and USPS only.

Yup...the same exact thing happens to me. Only with the holidays lately some of mine have been even later. I had one show up on wed which is a full week after thursday. Like you said...at least there won't be beetles..:mad:
 
Great....just looked at my CBID for this week and it looks like I got the shaft....DHL!!:mad:

I guess I won't bother looking for my smokes until next week sometime...lame!!
 
DHL and UPS suck. When I order, they uses USPS priority. It ships on Thursday and is at my house on Sat.
 
DHL has the worst on time ratings of the four carriers according to USA Today.
1. UPS
2. Fedex
3. USPS
4. DHL

It was by a long shot.
 
Just received my C-Bid box by DHL this morning. The competition between the delivery services is a good thing. I have not had any problems to speak of with any of the guys & gals. I am expecting a UPS delivery sometime today according to the tracker squadron leader. That is all:D

DHL really sucks. To be worse than the post office makes capitalism look bad. And USPS Priority is the best of all for the price. Several months ago I got completely fed up with DHL at CBid and put in a pissed off support ticket, since I could not find a way to switch the shipping option on the CBid or CI website. They were very nice and switched it to USPS for me, and it has been fine ever since. Now I get to spend LOTS of money there.

:tpd:Giggity, giggity! From PA to Tacoma, WA they send on Thursday I get on Saturday. Never fails!

Was not the same story with UPS/DHL.
 
DHL has reached a new low. Their delivery guy sent my package home with some guy that lives on my street (apparently he was delivering a package where this guy works) that I barely know because he didn't want to drive to my house. I'm done with DHL.
 
I also had a bad experience with a Cbid shipment via DHL a few weeks ago. The DHL tracking website showed the item was in the hands of the courier for 3 days before it was finally delivered. I sent a hot note to the president of DHL :fu, then contacted Cbid and asked them to change the method of shipping from DHL to UPS. Keep sending the complaints to Cbid customer service and maybe they'll drop DHL altogether!:gn
 
I sent a complaint to Cbid and to DHL about it, and switched my shipping on cbid to USPS.
