Maduro Cigar selections?

Fuente Rothchild maduro.

And I'll second the Fuente 8-5-8 maddie and the 5 Vegas "A" Apex.

Punch (NC) Pita Maduro Maduro. Verrrrrra good.

Cheap: Oliva G Maduro
Mid: 601 Blue
Expensive: PAM

Save up some money, buy everything in the thread and enjoy finding your favorites.

Big fan of:
5 Vegas 'A'
Padron Anniversary Series Maduro
601 Maduro
Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro
Cohiba Secretos Maduro
AVO Maduro
DPG JJ Maduro

I would stay away from:
Padron X000 Series
CAO Maduro's
Indian Tabac
Puros Indios

Try the Indian Tabac Maduro, also the Super Fuerte. The CI Legends by Perdomo. Padron maduro. Sancho Panza double maduro and super fuerte. Also the Gispert maduro is not bad and at a bargan price. The Rocky Patel Edge and Camacho cigars might be to full for you at least now. Hope this helps.

:tpd: TexasBob hits the nail on the head!:tu

Just a comment, I wouldn't call the Padrons or 5 Vegas 'A' Series a medium smoke; more fuller end of medium leaning into full by the last third.
But try the El Rey del Mundo Maduro. Very nice milder side of medium. Had my first this afternoon, courtesy of Guitarman-S.T-. Much milder than most maduros I've had.

CAO MX2 is definitely worth a try at least once.
601 Maduro (Blue Label) is great.
La Auora Sungrown Maduro is also another one worth trying.

I too am very fond of Maduro though they are VERY difficult to find them where I live in Canada, since Cubans are front and center at many cigar stores. Therefore, brands from other countries don't get much humidor space.

That being said, the Oliva Series G, as others have said is fantastic, especially in view of the $3-$4 these can be found for. This is a very high quality smoke for not alot of money. These cigars smoke like a cigar two or three times the money. Tough to beat, and one of my all-time favorites.

totally agree with the Oliva G maduro. I like the torpedo. Just cant beat the price and quality

I can't believe that noone has mention the VS 55 series maduro It is one of my personal fav's low priced and in my opinion a very tasty cigar I like the torpedo and the toro the best but there are some shorty that are nice for a quick smoke when time doesn't allow for the usual suspects and I second the A series 5 Vegas I pretty much like everything maduro though but try the Victor Sinclair if you haven't

Nestor Reserve maduros. :dr

I read that this has a 90 rating now they were a good cheap cigar and I imagine that they wont be all that cheap now lol but oh well still a good smoke and I had a CAO black the other night that was very tasty a little rough at the start but very good after about the third draw it mellowed right out and was smooth till I nubbed it

Enjoyed my first Gurkha last night - a Triple Ligero - MAN!! talk about rich and tasty.

Tons of those dark, luscious maduro flavors and very smooth.

It doesn't matter what we like it's what taste good to YOU!
That being said the maduros that I am presently enjoying are listed in order of preference at this time.

Carlos Torano Signature Churchill
CAO Brazilia Lambada
Padron Maduro Ambassador

Try as many as you can. Then a funny thing happens and your tastes will change and so will your cigars. Have Fun!
