Make some Oliva Brand Recommendations Here

Like the others have said, you shouldn't be disappointed with anything you buy. They make an excellent product.

In the Serie G, I prefer the Maduro. I can smoke those morning noon and night and they always taste great. The Cameroon is good but I don't enjoy it nearly as much as the Maduro.

I never see anyone talking about the Special 'S' here. I love the Oliva Special 'S'. It's a nice medium smoke with a good amount of creamy/nutty sweetness to it. Gets the job done every time. I'm a big fan of the other Oliva cigars as well, but the Special 'S' is by far my favorite.

Looking to dive into a few of these 'gars from the various oliva lines. I like med to med-full cigars in general. Love pepins, but also PAN64's, exodus gold's, etc. I'm all over on what I like. Depends on my mood.

I don't have much exp. with cameroons, so the seris G is interesting.

Please share your experiences with any Olivas here!

PM me your address and I'll spot you a few to try.

Another Vote for the special series, wish I could find them locally, although they can be found at C-bid for a pretty fair price.

I think I prefer the special series over the V's but the really are different smokes. To me the special series is the sleeper in the Oliva Line.

Welcome to the Oliva world! :tu As far as recommendations go, based on your flavor profile I would suggest the following:

-Master Blend 3 - These are smoking GREAT right now, my favorite cigar in the line currently
-Serie V Torpedo, Dbl Robusto, and Lancero - The wrapper to filler ratio on the lancero really makes this one shine. The Torp and ddbl robusto are also a couple of my favorites.
-Serie O Maduro Robusto - My favorite stick in the O line
-Serie O Torpedo - Great for a longer smoke, this all Habano puro should be right down your alley.

Hope this helps!

Also, I second the motion to contact Eric or Micah at The Party Source, great group of guys and some of the best prices in the country that I've seen.

I'm a bit late to the party here but I wanted to put in my own :2.

I went to my local B&M after I read about the Series V in CA Magazine (got like a 92). Boomer at the store gave me one to try. Nice touch. :tu

I liked it but wasn't compelled to buy any that time; I picked up some others, can't remember which.

But just this past Saturday, we were at my B&M again and a buddy bought us both Master Blends 3 Churchills and it was an amazing smoke. Quite possibly in my top 3 (which I'm sure will expand to a top-10 list as I get a few more under my belt and then a top-25 & so on and so forth).

I want to pick up more of these suckers now but my humi's pretty full. Not to mention that I've tried being diverse, sampling a great variety of cigars to see which I like best, instead of focusing on one type so early (I've only really gotten into cigar smoking this year).

I just found that this particular cigar was so much better than the others I've had that I think the cost (~$10) is worth it.
