A supplier gave me a couple of Marker's Mark robustos in a glass tube. They are called robustos but are toro size 6x50.
Anybody try these bourbon cigars?

Yes...the quality of the tobacco is pretty good. I am not a big fan of flavored cigars, but the flavor of these is subtle, and I liked them better than any other flavored cigar I have smoked, for what it's worth.

:tpd:I've had the same experience as hog, Bart.

They are pretty good if you ask me. Not worth what they retail for though. I could just barely pick up a hint of bourbon flavor, so it is not overwhelming. Like icehog says the quality is nice. Light it up and enjoy!

I had one gifted to me and would agree with the above comments. I thought the construction and quality were good, but I don't like flavored cigars. The flavor was subtle but not enjoyable for me.

I bought one a year and a half ago and It's been sitting in my humi ever since. I wonder if it still has any flavor

ive tried one , a gift from a customer, it was pretty good, not something id regularly purchase for the price though!!:ss

I have done some of these myself. Use a tall mason jar and mosten some coton with your liquor of choice. Put the cotton in the bottom, I use an old humidity puck in the bottom of the jar between the cotton and the cigars so the cigars don't touch the cottom and get to moist. I have used Wild Turkey, Famous Grouse scotch and Vodka. One or two days at the most, the cigars really soak up the liquor, kinda fun for a change! Fun to smoke and ride the tractor around the yard and get a buzz!

Hmm, I wonder...could one infuse a whiskey flavor into some cigars by seasoning and humidifying a humidor with whiskey?

Seems like a waste, but I might nab a 10-ct humi to try it out sometime.

Why not try DoubleTrouble's method? It sounds cheaper and you can easily switch flavors. Plus you might not waste all that delicious whiskey seasoning a humidor (opposed to wetting some cotton) instead of drinking it.

:tpd: A great experience, particularly if you like bourbon. It's subtle, so it doesn't seem like a cheezy flavored stick, but I definitely noticed the flavor. Expensive, and, in my view, too expensive, so you're lucky they were gifted.

I had this exact cigar... it was by far the worst cigar I have ever had. :puSTAY AWAY. I am not a fan of Marker's Mark at all:hn. I had about one inch and then couldn't take it.

I smoked one of those if i remember correctly, It was a glass tube with melted wax at the opening.

I'm pretty sure it was just that one, but I smoked it for 5 puffs, and then put it down for good. the taste gave me the impression that it was almost doused in chemicals. :( That was the only cigar I've ever not smoked  \

But I'm 99.9% sure that was just an anomaly.

I couldn't agree with you more.
However I choked down the entire cigar because I was smoking it with the person who went out of his way to pick up a couple.
