Rocky Patel is going to be at Nick's Cigar World today from 4 - 8pm.
Nick's is celebrating their 10th anniversary so what better way than to have Rocky there with his Decades. Suposed to be raffles, give-aways, specials, food and drinks. I am gonna try to get there a little early so maybe I can get a chance to have a smoke and some conversation with him before the crowds get too big. Can't wait to meet the guy responsible for so many good smokes.:ss

That is very cool - if anything just tell him thank you, I really enjoy his sticks and as posted above - photos and any news on new sticks or insights on current ones!

I met him at CigarFest last year. He's a pretty cool cat and very market savvy in the beloved cigar industry!
 
I met him last year, when alot of people were saying he was a flash-in-the-pan n00bie. After listening to his market acumen, longer-term plans, and enthusiasm for the business, I knew this guy was gonna be a contender. Very nice and helpful guy. I met him just after starting to collect cigars and he really helped me choose some sticks that would develop my palate but not overpower it.
 
Rocky is a cool guy....so is his brother...I met them a couple of years ago but the B&M I used to work at has an owner who is really good friends with Rocky's little bro Nisch...The second night of Big Smoke Las Vegas I was working the small Davidoff store at the Venetian, the one right off the casino floor, and Nisch walks up to give his obligatory thank yous and what not and I started talking to him about the owner form my old B&M...needless to say, I don't think I have ever been drunker in the city of Las Vegas than I was right after work, because Nisch made me go drink with him...and his legion of really hot chicks...
 
I saw him yesterday near Atlanta at an event and either yesterday or today is his b-day so wish him well though I assume I posted this too late.
