Montecristo Media Noche

I just finished one of these for my morning smoke. Your review was dead on, although I tasted mostly chocolate for almost the first half of it before the earthy tones took over. I've got nine more of the sticks (long story) sitting in my humi right now, and they've been in there for a couple of months.

You guys certainly had better luck than I did with this one. I burned one two nites ago that i got off Joe a couple weeks ago, hardly any flavor to me. With the beautifuly dark wrapper and the nice pre-light aroma, I was HOPING to get some of the chocolate... 1½ inches in I was hoping for any flavor at all.

In its defense, I will say that around the last 1/5th there was finally a teeny bit of coffee, and maybe that was nicotine that i noticed...

I'm obviously in the minority here, so I'll let them rest a lot longer...

I haven't tried a Torp but did have an Edmundo...pretty much the same experiance for me...very mild and I was expecting much more...
Well, I've 9 left that have been resting a couple of months so time to burn another.

I've only had one from a fiver (the Edmundo) but I really liked it. The other 4 are resting patiently. Can't wait to get to another in a month or so. Spot-on review. :tu

they realy do need some rest to bring them around. i dont like them fresh but with about 6months on the monte its a new cigar. i have a box resting now and i am going to hold out as long as i can..
 
Don't try this cigar, don't buy this cigar and please don't bid on this cigar at least for a while at the devil site. I'm still trying to land a box. :r

I tried the Edmono and definitely like it. It was much smoother than I had anticipated based on the wrapper.

I won a box of torps on CB for $85. Those will see some humi time!!
