More information for DC, MD and VA peeps interested in starting a private cigar club

Hey Bryan, sorry i haven't responded to this...I know that I am at this early point in the juncture interested in the idea at the very least. I don't konw how this is going to progress, but you can put me down as an interested party.

Man, I'd be all over this but sadly my time in this area is fleeting. By the time you get this all sorted out I'll probably be relocated but lets chat about this in detail at Havana Club tomorrow :tu

Bryan, I got your email containing the info, thanks. After reading through it I'm still definetly interested, and would like to be put down as an interested party. The only concern I have is what we talked about, my upcoming deployment in Feb. and the inevitable "orders" which would take elsewhere sometime around Jan-Feb of next year. I know thats still a ways away, but it's something that would have a factor in my decision making process.

Bryan, any chance a guy from KS can participate in some exploratory stuff as you guys go through it? Whether I was given any sort of say/voting weight is almost immaterial to me, because I want to learn from the process as you guys move through it.

My plan is to "publish" our process as we go through it. At least the parts that were not copyrighted we'd publish. I'd want everyone to have the information we have and we are more than happy to provide insight into our process.

If it's in the Northern Virginia area I could be in. I'm in Springfield, so like others, the closer it is, the more I'll be there.

The best thing is the are will be decided by the intial membership group. If most of them are in Northern, Va or Md or even Hawaii I'm betting thats where they will want to put the club. So one fo the best ways to have the club be near where you want it is simply to get invloved with us right now!

Also the DC area is large enough and fiscally able to support multiple clubs. A cigar society in this area could very well end up with a large (think 6000 sq ft or more) headquarters facility and several outlying facilities. So if you laid out an area bound by Columbia (as close to Bmore as you want to get with the Havana Club right there), Fredrick, Upper Marlboro, Bowie, Arlington, Leesburg, Mannassas, Woodbridge, etc there is certianly potential for several clubs providing the membership actually exists to support them.

The key right now is obviously getting membership together to support this idea and get it off the ground. We need your support to pull this thing together.
