I'm a newbie, but I have yet to smoke a bad Padron, the 1964 line or otherwise. I have also been very happy consistently with everything from Partagas.

In my experience, I'd have to say Fuente. I've smoked a bunch and, regardless of the line, have never had a bad one.

Started with Fuente cigars, but found them horrily IN-consistent! That is when I switched to the Punch as my regular brand. When I get a new box in, I know what they are going to taste like, and I have not been disasppointed.

What I voted for on this poll is the Montecristo. VERY consistent in quality accross the lines. I have yet to have one that required a touchup after lighting. So far, I have found the consistency in taste excellent in the Afrique variety. I have noticed taste differences between sticks in the regular line. I have not smoked enough Platinums or Whites to form an oppinion, but so far they seem consistent with what I expect. As to the Series V, the burn and construction was what I expected from a Montecristo, but the taste was kind of like how a horse apple smells.

My lineup would go like this:

Montecristo (particularly the Afrique line)
Punch (all lines)
Hoyo de Monterrey (Excalibur 1066)

The least consistent brands that I have enough experience to comment would be:

Arturo Fuente (with exception of the Hemmingway line)
La Aroma de Cuba

Interestingly, the BEST TASTING of any of the cigars that I have smoked come from the above two brands. I just don't know from one stick to the next if I am getting a piece of heaven or a dog rocket. Three out of four Don Carlos were excellent. The fourth was horrible in the second half with a cracked wrapper to boot. Too expensive to take a chance on more when there are less expensive sticks that I like. Same with the La Aroma. The robustos have all tasted very good with flawless looks. About 1/3 of them that I tried had such a hard draw that I felt I was sucking a golf ball through a garden hose. The draw on the corona size has been perfect so far, but the taste has been less consistent. I have removed them from the wrapper and am letting them age a bit more before I give up on them.

Just my opinion based on my own judgement.
Man I am with you all the way in regards to punch. I love them for their wonderful spicy flavor. But I believe La Aroma de Cuba has excellent consistency; I am becoming increasingly impressed with these cigars. All of the 12-15 cigars I've had from the line have been on the mark, esp. in terms of construction. Nice and strong. Would enjoy them even more if they had a tad more body.
