My B&M Rocks!

As some of you guys know I am going to Mexico on friday so I decided to swing by the local B&M and pick up a travel humi. I walk in and of am course greeted kindly, I give him alot of business because he is way cool and is always quick to help me and hook me up. I ask him if he has any travel humi's as I am going to Mexico. He mentioned he stays in Mazatlan in the Winter (he is an old snowbird) He kind of looked around and I didnt see anything so I though I was SOL. Then he looked at me with a crazy look in his eye and said I dont have any out here but I have some in the back that are put aside for my good customers. Seemed kind of weird to me but I went with it. He came back out with a black leather humi that looked amazing and I was afraid it would cost an arm and a leg. He looked at me and said I tell you what its yours for $30. Sold! He goes in the back for a few minutes which seemed weird and comes back with it in a box and I picked up a short story and purchased it for $35 with the SS. I stop by my office and then go home, I open it up and what do I find? Four of some very nice unmentionable cigars if you catch my drift with a note that said: "Justin, have fun in Mexico here is the name and number to a not so well known tobacconist from Canada that live there year around, Call him and get some more of what I gave you." My eyes lit up and I could not believe what happened. I am still quite awestruck and will be giving that guy a call once I get down there.

The moral of the story, support your local stores!

That is a great story. It is always great to have cigar contacts. Congrats on the score!! Have a fun and safe trip to Mexico. Smoke one for me.

Woogie:ss

Yeah, the guy is awesome. He is getting up there in age I think he told me he was 78 or 79 he has some crazy stories about WWII I talked to him about his experiences for a couple hours very cool guy. I have buying from him for about 2 years now.

That is a great story and your tobacconist is amazing. If I were you I would have a sit down with him and listen to his war stories, you just can't beat living history.

In my opinion, those stories he has are worth at least as much as the very nice gift he gave you.

PM me if the contact down south would be willing to ship covertly.

Your darn lucky since the only B&M near me has a history of shall we say poor service and very little care in taking proper care of their inventory.

I will talk to him when I get down there, I dont want to burn any bridges or anything like that so no offense I dont know if I want to give it out. I will shoot you a PM.

That is truly awesome, man! Most B&M owners are just like us, and really appreciate repeat customers... enjoy!!!!!:tu

Great story! I love my B&M, can't beat the servic. I just wishe he had ohhhh, 10x the space so I coudl buy everything from him in singles. Alas it is not ment to be.

Nice I bet you were happy with the gifts, also while your down there if you want to pick me some little gifts up ill glady pay you for them just shoot me a pm

Sounds like you have a solid relationship there. :tu I used to patronize some of the bigger well known stores in the city here, but none of them compare to my favorite and recently found B&M. Not the newest or fanciest of shops, but a great owner who greets you by name, knows how to treat his customers, and makes everyone feel welcome.

Enjoy your trip!

Now that's a great (and enviable) experience! Since I've started going to a different B&M I've had a much more relaxing and enjoyable time. :tu

Have fun in Mexico! :ss
